Yes! I love Figma and have used it pretty much every day for the last 5 years (switched from Adobe xD and can’t believe what I was missing out on)! I’ve attended the Config event twice and grew exponentially each time.

I use Figma like a head chef uses a prep kitchen, fully stocked with the latest and best tools.

• Figma is where the selected ingredients (design system elements) are selected, chopped, arranged, and combined into a balanced experience.

• The designer and stakeholders can taste-test (prototype) and adjust the recipe before serving (shipping the product).

• Collaboration in Figma is like a kitchen brigade working on the same dish together, refining it in real time.

• The design system is like a fully-stocked pantry with custom ingredients and pre-packaged courses/meals that can be quickly and consistently served.

Yes! Quite a bit actually, and it’s very fun. In addition to website/webpage design, I’ve led and managed the experience design of tools, calculators, and applications. Here are a few examples:

• METRiQ (Portfolio analysis platform that provides transparency for investors and their investment accounts.)

• Beeswax (Mobile app to manage/access deceased family member’s information. Conceived and designed.)

• Investment Proposal Tool (For financial advisors, a PDF generation application to help convince investors to use a specific portfolio suggestion).

Yes! I’ve created and implemented a design system in Figma from scratch and then updated it in 2025 when we did a corporate brand overhaul.

Yes! I’ve spent my entire career working with US and international clients and stakeholders. Some of my closest working relationships are with people in Toronto, London, Sydney, and Mumbai. I am very comfortable with different time zones and different cultures.

Yes! I made the case to build a UX Design team in 2019 and have grown it from two to six people since then.
